The film follows Ukrainian Associated Press journalist Mstyslav Chernov and his
team as they provide a raw account of the events that transpired during the Russian siege of the Ukrainian eastern port city of Mariupol. The journalists are met with bombs, death, and destruction as they struggle to document and broadcast the atrocities. Chernov’s content does not shy away from depicting the harsh reality of the conflict, including mass graves, missile - attacks, and hospital bombings. What results is an authentic, unrelenting retelling of events that directly challenges Russian misinformation campaigns.
