Old-school magic meets the modern day in this epic adventure, partly filmed around the South West. Alex is just an ordinary London schoolboy, when, hiding from the school bullies, he discovers King Arthur’s legendary sword Excalibur on a local building site. Before he knows it, he’s gearing up to save the world instead of his own skin. Now his friends must become knights and join the wizard Merlin (Patrick Stewart) to fight the wicked witch Morgana.

“The characters are a delight, the action sequences thrum with invention, and when it’s funny, it’s very funny indeed.” EmpireOnline.com
