An Award for Hard Work

We have won an award! Quite unexpectedly at a meeting in London last week, More2Screen (the people who distribute the Royal Opera House broadcasts and other cinema events.) presented our manager, Liz, with a MAFTA for Best Indie Cinema Team, in recognition of Strode Theatre’s achievements in attracting great audiences for our Live on Screen seasons. And we didn’t just get the ‘trophy’ itself, but also the Royal Opera House tea towel you can see in the picture. Liz was surprised and delighted at the recognition of our hard work, and the whole Theatre team is extremely chuffed!
